JIN SHIN JYUTSU is an ancient art of releasing tension. This guided meditation and self-energy healing work involves breath awareness and gentle touch applied in specific sequences that relax and energize body, mind and spirit. This practice is meditative and restorative and therefore soothing to the nervous system. We use props to support and enable us to hold the steps we use on ourselves to bring balance to our energy patterns, promoting optimal health and deep relaxation.

Welcome To Jin Shin Jyutsu: Jin Shin Jyutsu® physio-philosophy is an ancient art of harmonizing the life energy in the body. Born of innate wisdom and passed down from generation to generation by word of mouth, the Art was revived in the early 1900's by Master Jiro Murai in Japan. After clearing himself of a life-threatening illness, Master Murai devoted the rest of his life to the research and development of Jin Shin Jyutsu, gathering insight from a range of experiences and resources, including the Kojiki (Record of Ancient Things).
Jin Shin Jyutsu Self-Help Class: During this class, we study fundamental principles of Physio-Philosophy and how to apply the Art to ourselves and those in our lives. You will learn to use specific hand placements to act as jumper cables, to encourage optimum circulation and Chi flow.
In these relaxing yet energizing introduction classes, you will actively learn self-help exercises for daily living to help maintain your own health and well-being. Jin Shin Jyutsu Self- Help can be used anywhere and at any time. It's methods are so easy and unobtrusive that you can use them on yourself in a crowded bus or in the middle of a difficult meeting.
